FVA-Workbench 11.0.1
Bugfixes
Load-carrying capacity of cylindrical gears
The determination of the life factor for the flank, Z_N, has been corrected for the following case:
Calculation according to ISO 6336 or ABS
Increased pitting permitted
Materials: St, V, GGG (pearlitic, bainitic), GTS (pearlitic), Eh, IF
Number of load cycles greater than 10^7
All other cases are not affected.
In the load-carrying capacity calculation according to ISO 6336, the determination of the running-in allowance y_f has been corrected. This may lead to minor changes in the factors K_v and K_Hα.
Calculation of planet gear plain bearings
Version 1.2.10 of COMBROS PG has been integrated. It includes the following bug fixes:
Correction of the friction torque and power loss
Correction of the behavior in cases of excessively coarse discretization and pocket definitions that extend too close to the bearing edge: Previously, the pocket edges were shifted to the nearest nodes instead of adjusting the nodes accordingly.
Correction of the nominal Sommerfeld number when specifying the displacement.
Local bearing losses with immersion lubrication
A bug in the calculation of churning losses according to Schaeffler for bearings deeply immersed in oil has been fixed.
Determination of the minimum flank fracture safety factor for bevel gears
A bug has been fixed that could cause the location of the minimum flank fracture safety factor to leave the specified evaluation range in the material depth. In this case, a surface singularity was previously output.
Positioning of CAD gear bodies
A bug has been fixed that could cause the positioning step to abort after importing CAD geometry. This affected step 1 of the FEM connection. In this case, the wizard window did not open.
Synchronization of meshing settings
The meshing settings between Load Distribution (FEM) and Dynamic Tooth Contact Analysis (FEM) are now synchronized when using the “FEM Meshing Visualization” wizard.
In addition, the lower limits for the meshing fineness entered via the wizard have been corrected.
