FVA-WB 11.0.2 (09/2026)
Bugfixes
The input field for the surface roughness of spline connections was incorrectly hidden when only the FVA 321 calculation method was enabled at the system level (without DIN 743 or the FKM Guideline). This issue could cause the calculation to fail and has been resolved.
The "Selection of the base tangent length deviation" attribute was inadvertently removed from the spline connection input editor. This issue has been corrected, and the attribute is now available again in the input editor.
In the ISO 6336 Parts 20/21 calculation, the factor K_gamma was not correctly taken into account in certain cases, such as planetary gear systems or models with power losses. This issue has been resolved.
Some result values were not correctly saved back to RDAT when executing certain cylindrical gear load capacity calculation methods. This issue has been resolved.
Affected attributes: inner diameter d_sh, bearing eccentricity, bearing distance, iso 6336 inner diameter d_sh, iso 6336 bearing eccentricity, iso 6336 bearing distance
An issue in the internal modeling of double-row angular contact thrust ball bearings has been resolved.
An encoding issue affecting the retrieval of license information on systems using non-Latin character sets has been resolved.
In rare cases, issues could occur when generating the reduced stiffness matrix for multi-part casings. This issue has been resolved.
When capturing FE contact nodes on multi-part housings, the specified tolerance was not applied correctly. In addition, the initiator and target conventions were reversed. These issues have been resolved.
An issue affecting the CAD export of cylindrical gears with large root relief has been resolved.
When importing 3D KIMoS neutral data, specified angular correction is now correctly taken into account when determining the addendum and dedendum heights. As a result, the calculation of load factors according to ISO 10300 can now be performed correctly for gears with angular correction.
Detection of system-wide MATLAB Runtime installations has been improved and now also works correctly when the runtime is installed outside the default directory structure.
